Diving into high school swimming is a big deal. ❤️🏊

Each year, we send our Rivi freshmen off with a personalized travel bag as they begin their high school swimming careers. It’s our way of making sure a little piece of Rivi is always with them — even when they’re swimming under another team’s banner.

This year, nine Rivi freshmen will represent four local high schools, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish:

Our fearless leader, Coach Therese Love, celebrated an astonishing 50 years at the Rivi this summer! ❤️🏊‍♀️

While Therese would always prefer to put the spotlight back on her swimmers, the Rivi Swim Team couldn’t let a milestone like this pass without a celebration.

Over five decades at the Rivi, Therese has taught thousands of kids to swim, helped countless swimmers achieve incredible success in Indiana swimming and beyond, and — most importantly — helped generations of young people build confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of the water.

We celebrated with cake, a custom new chair for all those long swim meets, and an oil painting of the Rivi — so a little piece of the pool she’s given so much to is always with her. ❤️

Thank you, Therese, for 50 years of teaching, coaching, cheering, believing and making Rivi what it is.

You’re a legend.

The Rivi Swim Team kicked off short course season with pizza, pool games and plenty of laughs. Rescue regattas, tube races, beach ball challenges and other shennanigans made for a pretty great afternoon at the pool. ❤️🖤

Rivi takes on open water! 🏊‍♀️🌙

Rivi swimmers Sophie Spataro and Clara Haley traded lane lines for open water this weekend, completing the Swim to the Moon 5K in Michigan alongside fellow Riviera Club members and mom-daughter duo Laura and Noa Calili.

The group swam 3.1 miles through a chain of five lakes — their second year taking on the challenge together.

We love seeing Rivi swimmers — and Riviera Club members — taking their love of the water beyond the pool. Congratulations to Sophie, Clara, Noa and Laura on an awesome 5K! ❤️🖤

Luke Brames Caps Off Standout Age Group Career with Championship Performance at Central Zones ❤️🖤

This weekend, Luke Brames represented Team Indiana at the 2026 Central Zone 14 & Under Championship Meet in Evansville—one of the Midwest’s premier age group competitions. The meet brings together the top 14 & Under swimmers from across the region, with each athlete earning the opportunity to represent their state.

It also marked a milestone in Luke’s swimming journey. This was his final championship meet as a 14 & Under swimmer before moving into the senior ranks. It was the fourth Central Zone Championship Meet of his career, after qualifying at ages 10, 12, 13, and 14—a remarkable accomplishment that reflects years of dedication and hard work.

Luke capped off his age group career with an outstanding weekend, earning individual podium finishes while helping Team Indiana to relay success.
