Great weekend for the Angels. The 11u team finished off their season with nine straight wins and two tournament victories. They won the Bill Sturm tournament at OYO.

Also at OYO our 7u Angels teams played each other in the championship.

Our 9u Blue team finished runner up in Louisville in a very competitive tournament playing up in the 10u bracket.

These AYBS alums spent their morning taking in some action Championship Saturday at the fields. They then spent their afternoon helping North Central win its second consecutive Regional Championship. Beating Avon 5-3 in extra innings.

They face Bloomington South in Semi-State this Saturday in Evansville.

Congratulations to our 2026 AYBS Legacy Award winners, Izzy Krier and Maddox Spiegel! They are pictured with last year’s winners Zander Mcclurg and Maya Hise, as well as their commorative bats signed by their 2026 peers who also vote to determine the award winner.

This award is about more than baseball and softball. It recognizes players who have grown up at AYBS, represented their teams the right way, and left a lasting impact on our league.

Izzy and Maddox, thank you for the years of effort, leadership, sportsmanship, and memories. You are now part of the AYBS legacy forever.

YouthSoftball

These AYBS alums, now at North Central High School, competed for and won, their Sectional Championship on 6/1 versus Lawrence North.

Every boy played at AYBS all the way through Majors. They credit their love of the game to the time spent at the AYBS fields.

They will now face Avon in Regionals on 6/6.
