We are watching Patriot Games (on Cogswell's dime!) for the first time in 10+ years. Bad guys with night vision goggles come to do murder at Jack Ryan's house. Some are foiled by turning on the lights. Cool. But before this, the whole scene builds tension with the bad guys sneaking around DURING A LIGHTNING STORM and entering rooms with fires going in fireplaces. WTF.
