Beaver Creek & Vail - Indianapolis Ski Club Beaver Creek & Vail

Indianapolis Ski Club Thursday Thirst at Urban Vines was attended by 13 members. It was a beautiful, sunny evening but a little bit of a chill was in the air. Thank you, Patty Pattemore for finding this lovely brewery for us. The outdoor setting is very nice including multiple private firepits available to rent, musical entertainment, a large patio, and lots of picnic tables available on the patio and on the grounds. The food and wine was very good.

We must have looked like we were having a really good time because a couple enjoying the evening there came over to meet us when they noticed the Indianapolis Ski Club banner. By the way, our banner is a really good way to promote the club when we're out at our social events. Nancy and Joe Spencer are planning to join the club and allowed us to take their picture. My impression is that they're an energetic couple looking to add some fun in their retirement. They have skied for many years and have a place in Winter Park. They already spoke with Jackie Sunboom from membership and Carolyn McConkey, our VP of trips, and are looking forward becoming members. I'm including their pictures, so please say hi to them when you see them at the next events.

I was hoping a September Lunch at The Blind, Owl Brewery would give us nice weather for patio dining and an opportunity to play Co****le or play Bocce.
It was a beautiful day.We had a great time visiting with everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Socially we've had a pretty busy summer. In August we had a nature walk at Richey Woods Preserve, Thursday Thirst at Bazbeaux Pizza, free concerts at Mallow Run and Carmel Gazebo. We would love for you to join us for more activities. Eldonna and Patty
