Thirty Years of Bubba 💚

For 30 years, Bubba has been a steady presence at Hillcrest, building a career that has grown right alongside the Club.

His story began in the snack bar before an unexpected opportunity brought him into the clubhouse kitchen, where he would go on to spend the next three decades. In that time, he has witnessed renovations, changing traditions, memorable events and generations of members and employees come through Hillcrest.

Through all of those changes, Bubba says it is the people who have made his time here so meaningful. The relationships he has formed with members and coworkers have become some of his favorite parts of the job, and his philosophy after 30 years remains simple: members always come first.

Today, we are proud to recognize a milestone that represents much more than years of service. It represents three decades of dedication, relationships and a lasting contribution to Hillcrest.

Member Spotlight: Eric & Shelly Stuck✨

For more than 20 years, Eric and Shelly Stuck have called Hillcrest home, joining as Legacy members through Shelly’s parents, John and Karen St. Clair. Over the years, the Club has been the backdrop for countless family memories, from holiday brunches and their own version of “fun golf” to Galas, 9 & Dines, Glow Ball, and Groundhog Golf. Their children, Brandon and Katie, grew up at Hillcrest too, spending summers on the swim team and developing a love for golf that eventually led them to competitive high school play.

Shelly has also played an important role in Hillcrest’s history. She served on the Board of Directors from 2011 to 2018, helping make Hillcrest the first country club in Indiana to have female representation on its Board. She also helped establish the Ladies Twilight League and continues to stay involved through Club committees.

More than two decades later, the Stucks still cherish the friendships, traditions, and memories that make Hillcrest feel like home!🤍
