Like everyone the beautiful Kyle Loftis encountered in his life, the Summernats team and community are devastated to hear of his passing.

This pic is from Kyle's first trip to Summernats in 2017 and perfectly captures what he meant to us. Kyle was unbridled joy. The OG epicentre of our USA family. A natural star of the show without ever trying to be.

His generosity to everyone in his enormous and ever-widening circle knew no limits.

Kyle came to Summernats in 2017 and brought Garrett, Farmtruck and AZN and many other American guys into our world. His amazing content took our show to the US and places we would never get to otherwise.

He never asked us for anything in return.

And by doing that, Kyle was actually the start of our journey to Summernats USA.

It’s an unknown story that last year, when we were sending cars to the US to kick off our promotion, we were suddenly unable to participate at the event we originally planned to.

We were spinning out, we had cars on the water, and nowhere to go.

We called Kyle for advice and he said “Don’t worry guys, come to Ice Cream Cruise. I’ll make everything you need happen. You’ll have a good time I promise.”

He did, and we did.

Our love goes out to his mum and family, Matt and the 1320 crew, his wonderful friend Garrett and Freedom Factory team, and everyone else in our community around the world who are heart-broken.

Vale, Kyle Loftis. Our world lost a great man today.
