Trouble with overhead mobility? Struggle with barbell or dumbbell overhead presses / military presses?

While addressing your mobility restrictions should be a priority - in the interim - consider subbing to a slightly more horizontal shoulder press variation such as a landmine press [similar to this multi flex press].

Landmine pressing or something in a similar plane of motion will accommodate many people in terms of mobility demands and can be manipulated in a variety of ways to increase or decrease difficulty.

Once your mobility improves - the shoulder + core strength you’ve gained from landmine pressing will transfer nicely to overhead pressing.

💥 develop quality movement patterns
