The Activity Center and Parks & Recreation offices will be closed tomorrow, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 26.

Please note that tomorrow, Tuesday May 19, City parks staff will be planting annual flowers in the medians at the north entrance to the city.

The inside lanes of Hwy 65/69 (North Jefferson Way) will be closed from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Please use caution in the area and expect minor traffic delays.

Quick reminder for Tuesday, May 19 (weather permitting):

As previously shared, Indianola Parks crews will be doing spring maintenance on the Hwy 65/69 medians from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., requiring inside lane closures. Please plan for delays and drive with caution. Thanks for your patience as we freshen up one of Indianola’s busiest corridors!

Our youth softball leagues play on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Pickard Park. Nearly 100 players are learning the game, honing their skills and creating great memories with their teammates. Why not stop out and cheer them on? It's free entertainment, and a sure way to see some future all-stars!
