If you’ve been following my stories you’ve been witnessing the saga that has been this past month, losing my debit card, breaking into my room door, transfusions, fever, iron infusions, bloodwork, whatever flu is going around, secondary side effects, rashes in my back and belly button, a lot of cancellation of my classes, and my voice gone. There were times it hurt so much to even answer the phone and speak.
The amount of fluids coming out from my lungs and chest was 👀
Well today, today, finally the r wave of inspiration resuscitated my voice into a Baiana Brasileina🇧🇷

Sound is so healing and this is why I share the work I do with you✨

When you’re in funk, my invitation is to explore to sing it out, see what wants to come out or come in🤍

Thank you so much .wellness.center for inviting me and help coordinate Loma Linda University Children’s Health Family Fun Day Charity event to raise funds for children’s and families affected by cancer

Family Fun Day for Loma Linda University Health Children’s Hospital is a community fundraising event + family festival designed to support kids receiving care at the hospital.

This event was organized by a support group called Big Hearts for Little Hearts (Loma Linda Guild) and the goal is to bring the community together while raising money for children’s healthcare.

Every ticket, activity, or donation helps fund life-saving treatments and equipment, support programs that make hospital stays easier for kids, and bring comfort and hope to families with sick children.

This is community medicine. A space where joy, play, and support come together to help children heal. Never in a million years would I think my little dance can be used for the highest of good.

You can change the world by your heart, your dance, your song, your art.

I am privileged to use my dance for good. 🤍
