We rode despite the mud today! She wasn't amused. She had a melt down over the mosquitos in the pasture. We returned to the barn for more fly spray, a fly mask, and lunging equipment. Despite not being happy about it she got herself together and we rode respectfully around some of the trail obstacles 😅

I often wonder how they trained these animals before fly spray. Then that thought is always followed by - Why do we keep paying such high dollar on fly spray when it really doesn't seem to work? 🤔

I get tired of the word "expensive" being in the same sentences as "horses" or "riding lessons."

They aren't expensive if they are your priority.

Coffee is not a priority to me, so I literally never go to 7 Brew, Starbucks, or Scooters.

We all have a choice in what we prioritize.

I took in several deep breaths and found my calm as I enjoyed the sunset with MY priorities this evening 🤑🤠🐎

How do you spend your day off?
Or better yet, who do you spend it with? 🐎🥰

Our Maze Game is great for practicing leg aids and planning. Can you and your horse quietly get through tight turns and tunnels while maintaining gait?? 🐎🤠
