One last outdoor milonga before El Nino carries us away. DJ Dante will spin a 50/50 mix of Golden Age and alternative tunes from 5-7pm, before switching to an all Golden Age set from 7-9pm. We’ll dance in the twilight surrounded by fairy lights, and there’s an indoor floor handy in case weather demands

This 6-week course is about locating and maintaining a particular deep tango connection that is unique to close embrace. We will cover some important figures but the main focus is on finding connection, comfort, and enjoyment for ourselves and our partner, in close embrace.

The course is taught by David Lampson. This is an intermediate class, aimed at graduates of Beginner II, or dancers with at least six months of tango experience, and a familiarity with the cross, ochos, simple turns, etc.

A partner is recommended but not required. Many students will attend the course without a partner.

Time: 6 Mondays starting Sept. 14th
Price: $100 for all 6 classes

The course is designed for dancers who have completed Beginner I and II, or have at least 3 months of consistent tango practice. Mondays 7-8pm starting Sep 17th

Link in bio to register. This course is for students who have taken Beginners I at least once, or students with a few months of tango experience. We’ll study in depth (and integrate into our dance) the basic 8-step to the cross, front and back ochos, turning to each side, and the media luna, with an emphasis on technique, connection, and improvisation.
The course also provides an introduction to musicality, posture, quality of embrace, and some fundamental skills for thriving at a social tango event. Purchase of this class series also includes entry to the Tango Learning Lab and practica directly following.
Time: 6 Saturdays starting Sep 19th

Link in bio to register. This 6-part series will introduce you the mysterious language of tango. Once you know it, you can dance with any other tango dancer, anywhere in the world. We’ll learn the fundamentals of leading & following, and a few basic figures, with a focus on fun & connection.

No partner required. This is a progressive series, so drop-ins will not be accepted after the first week. No special shoes required.

Six Thursdays from 8-9pm starting September 17th 2026

$100 for all 6 classes, and includes admission to a tango social after the class.
