Another 🔥 transformation ! My name is @bryson_smitty and my journey began back in 2018 at a weight of 265. I hated life . I had always been the bigger kid and got picked on because of my weight. I decided I was gonna make a change so I picked up martial arts and little did I know it would change my life. I got my weight down to 220 but really did not pay much attention to my nutrition. Unfortunately by my 11th grade year my weight crept back up to 260. One of my heavier “friends” told me I looked like I was getting fat. I was used to this from smaller people but he was my size , maybe heavier and I’ll never forget how different that hit . From that moment on I made up my mind I was gonna drop the weight . I basically overtrained and ate bars and drank shakes and lost crazy weight down to 160. I was unhealthy now in a different way. I picked up weight training and switched up my meal preparation and positive things really started to happen. I would like to thank my friend @phillipsdavidmma for taking me under his wing and helping me do something I didn’t think was possible; standing up for myself. During the last year I’ve focused more on my nutrition and training more at my limits. My current weight is 185 and I feel like I’m just getting started good. My perspective on life is totally different and as you can see, I love where I’m headed! 💯💪🏼

Hats off to this guy my client and buddy @houstonprice3 ! 10 weeks 3 days a week and he has gone from 210 to to 189. He came to me with a bad shoulder, low energy but the desire to change and do something about it. He had decided to give up lifting heavy and focus more on dropping some excess pounds and feeling better. We showed him how he could do both . As we went through the process he set a personal goal to get back to where he could bench his personal best of 315 . ✅ He did just that ! And his words were “if I never do it again; I did it! 💯💪🏼 Great job Houston!! His typical workouts now consist of 18-24 sets with varied volume and rep patterns to allow for healing and adaptation week to week . ⬆️ h20 ⬇️sugar

What everyone does… 🤦🏽♂️
👉🏼Take The Most Cracked Out Pre-workout👉🏼Train Compound Lift only (bench, squat, deadlifts)
👉🏼Restrict foods completely
👉🏼Eat anything just to gain weight (skinny guys/girls)
👉🏼Over emphasize on cardio rather than lifting
Then wonder why They’re not making progress? 😅
When in reality they should start by…
✅Taking staple vitamins
✅Sticking to a structured training split 6-8 weeks
✅Correctly tracking Macros, NOT calories
✅Getting food intake from more nutritionally dense foods
✅Use majority of energy expenditure on lifting (it actually can burn more calories 🔥
For a beginner progress is really that simple, but y’all want to make it harder than it really is. 😫
Really dial in on these things, and it’ll make a world of difference. 💯
