Inver Grove Heights Band Boosters

Inver Grove Heights Band Boosters Supports ISD #199 Bands The IGH Band Boosters supports our elementary, middle school and high school bands, including the marching and pep bands.

The band program is important for our students and the community, with performances in the IGH Days parade and sporting events as well as at community senior housing and free concerts open to the public. The booster club provides supplemental activities for band students, helps make band affordable to all students, supports students at competitions and events and provides a $1000 B.E.S.T. Foundation scholarship to a graduating senior.

Thanks for the shout out!

HATS OFF TO THE SIMLEY MARCHING BAND! What a week for these talented students. Not only did they perform in Saturday’s Inver Grove Heights Days Parade, they also marched in parades in Osseo and Northfield. And on Wednesday, the Simley Drumline helped kick off IGH Days with a terrific performance at our Hometown Heroes Cookout.

I was fortunate to have a front-row seat for Saturday’s parade. I was pushing my grocery cart as part of our annual IGH Days Parade Food Drive, and our group was just two units behind the band. In this photo, it is a little like “Where’s Waldo?” I’m down the hill, just below the big red and blue arrow.

A big thank you to all the Simley band members, their director, the parents, volunteers, and the Inver Grove Heights Band Boosters who put in countless hours to make performances like these possible. They represented Simley, Inver Grove Heights Schools, and Inver Grove Heights exceptionally well all week long. Great job, Spartans!
