Hunting season is about to begin on the Withlacoochee State Forest Citrus Tract. Be safe by being seen! Stay on marked equestrian trails and open roads.

Thank you to the Florida Forever B*H members that served our equestrian community at the Round Up! with your time, talents and hours of effort. Especially Karen and Steve, Francine and Gene, Sue and Andy, Angie, Chris and Grace, Janice and Gary, Barb, Bev, Carol, Cheri, Debi, Lillian, Lynn, Karen, Kari, and Nancy.

Thank you to your energetic members who enthusiastically participated in our work day. We are stronger together.

Angels are everywhere.

Our deepest gratitude to Nelson Otero of Sleepy Hollow Fish Camp for cooking our butts! Seeing the possibility for real disaster, Nelson selflessly offered to handle our four really big butts🐷 from prep to pan. Everyone loved the Pulled Pork Potluck at our recent Round Up! fundraiser with many folks commenting it was the best pulled pork they'd every had! Not only is Nelson a world class equestrian but he's a world class person!

The next time you're camping at Tillis Hill Equestrian Campground, take a drive over to Sleepy Hollow Fish Camp for some really great smoked ribs, shrimp 🍤 steamed to perfection or amazing brisket. Take a relaxing ride on the swing. Look up and smile! Life is good.

Our Round Up! was a huge success in participation and fundraising. There's still an opportunity for you to give to the Friends of Florida State Forests.
