Just a little update on what we've been up to on our days off.... Yesterday was a big day, seeing as how we're open 6 day's a week I figured this would be my only opportunity to get my mother of the BRIDE DRESS!! Our first born Jada will be getting married in January, Im happy to say she picked a keeper, very seldom do Jay and I have an opportunity to get dressed up. We started our morning off about 30 min later then Jada would have liked but getting 4 girls outta the house is almost impossible the night before I had a little mishap and backed into our dumpster I wish I could say it was the first time but it's not,(backing out isn't one of my many gifts.) my back glass is gone so if you see me out and about I the hummer I'm not showing off its what's available until Wednesday when our good buddy from Utley's can get me fixed up. 😐
Anyways we make it to Wichita the first three stores were a bust, pretty sure we witnessed a crime and lost Sam in Dillard's, we finally found a dressing room and to my surprise Jay literally has worked my butt off!! Went in thinking I was a size 16 a 14 if I was sucking it in and turns out I got into a size 6 comfortably!! 😅
While we were out shopping Jay was slaving away at the Liberty Landing cleaning the hood grates, making sure when you come in to enjoy a meal you won't leave smelling like you just left a diner that don't clean their hood, he has them shining!! Today we will be getting casters on the convection oven that's been an eyesore since opening and will hopefully have it moved so we can enjoy the veiw a bit better.
I ALSO have an update on the annoying fly situation I think we finally found a solution to our problem I can't promise you won't see the wait staff in the dining room with the bug assault simi auto (good for flies or fries😂) no seriously we found an exterminator that has helped tremendously SHOUT OUT to GALT extermination CHANUTE KS!!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday, we open at 7am and close at 9pm.
