George is a super intellectual guy, and he brings that onto the mats with his Jiu Jitsu.

He competed at the Chicago Open at white belt and won a bunch of matches to take home gold 🥇

If you roll with George, you’re gonna test your own Jiu Jitsu, and everyone in the room gets better for it!

On one of Mike’s last nights before moving away, he earned his purple belt.

Mike is incredibly technical.

Mike is not scared to test his jiu jitsu - even secretly taking an MMA fight and winning using a ton of his grappling.

Mike will be missed here at Citadel, and hopefully we see him down the road again.

Dave has been with us for a long time. Jiu jitsu is a marathon not a sprint. It takes YEARS to earn belts - not days, weeks, or months.

An individuals journey is going to be filled with peaks and valleys, but it’s important to keep that perspective.

Congratulations to all the competitors from Citadel BJJ who did the IBJJF Chicago Open this past weekend!

We’re super proud of everyone who got out there and put it on the line.

Everyone helped TAC Team to win 1st place in the Gi Adult Championship, as well as 2nd place in the No-Gi Adult Championship (you can see the trophy at the front desk).

Good work, and congratulations again!
