Hi everyone,
We had an absolutely great turnout for our club championship this past weekend. We held a member appreciation steak dinner that had a lot of members attend. Smiling faces and laughs filling the clubhouse and outside patio area.
We held an election for Board Members:
President - Seth Ice
Vice Pres - Ricky Clark
General Board - Golden Bolen, Rocky Saucedo, and Greg Gasser
Congrats Guys!!
And let’s not forget some great golf being played!! Our Club Champion Manuel Ortiz Jr. had a 2 day total of -9. (65,70)
2nd place - Seth Ice -4. (72,68)
3rd place - Todd Ho**er -3. (70,71)
Just to give everyone how strong our club is with quality golfers, shooting an average of 75 (+3) both days for a combined score of 150 doesn’t even get you in the Top 5. Our little West Texas Club has some sticks in town for sure.
Seniors Division - Kudos to these guys! They are still posting scores most golfers of any age would take any day of the week! Great job, Seniors!
1st - Sheldon Collins - 154 (78,76)
2nd - Ricky Clark - 160 (80,80)
3rd - Mickey Perry - 162 (81,81)
Junior Division - A bright future is ahead of us!! Our Junior Golfers are showing the ability to play. Our top 3 finishers are in high school and we are looking forward to watching their success on the course this school calendar year.
1st - Elias DeHoyos - 158 (79,79)
2nd - Hunter Rico - 159 (77,82)
3rd - Stetson Scalzo - 165 (84,81)
Mr Kam Rodriguez - 9 years old & also participated with the big boys in the Junior Division. The little guy held his own!! Kam finished 167 total. (83,84)
