What tracks in our area are racing this weekend? We know NAS, Xtreme, and Hwy 72 are all off this weekend so we’re looking for somewhere to race.

Saturday recap
We were at Xtreme Speedway for the Clash on the Clay race. A stout field of 29 cars signed in for the $3k to win race. It came a pretty good rain there earlier in the day which meant the race track was still a little slimy in hot laps and we couldn’t tell much about the car.

We weren’t much good in qualifying and ended up 9th in our group. This would set us up for a 4th place starting spot in heat 1.

The track was hooked up and hammer down in the heat so passing didn’t come easy. An outside starting position helped Dillan get an early jump and move into 3rd place and this is where he would finish the 8 lap heat. This locked us in for a 13th place starting position in the 30 lap feature.

After a few changes in the pits, Dillan rolled out for the feature. It was evident early on that the car was much better with the changes we had made. Dillan was able to move up from his 13th starting spot to 8th and battling for a top 5 by lap 7. Unfortunately, there was a pileup on a restart and we got caught up in the middle of it. The resulting damage ended our night.

The bad news is, we didn’t get the finish we wanted and we have a few bent parts to replace. The good news is, the car was really good and we felt like we had a shot at a really good finish.

Congratulations to Bryson Mitchell on the win!

Not sure where our next race will be. We’ll post something later this week.

As always, thanks to God for a good safe night of racing and thanks to all of our great sponsors

Our plans are to be at Xtreme Speedway if they get to race tomorrow night. We still have a few of these caps for $20 each. Give us a holler if you want one.

There was a delay in shipping for our vendor getting some of the shirts in, but we should have those by the middle of next week.

After a couple weeks off, it’s time to get this thing ready to race for $3k this Saturday at Xtreme Speedway!

It looks like we’ll be taking another weekend off. Our plans are to be at Xtreme Speedway next weekend for the $3k to win Clash on the Clay. We might make it down to North Alabama Speedway this Saturday to watch and hang out with some friends. It’s gonna be a good race, yall go check it out if you can.

I posted this picture a few days ago to show how durable the MD3 body panels are. As Paul Harvey would say, here’s the rest of the story.

While this picture looks pretty bad, it was just a racing deal. Both drivers were probably a little to blame. Dillan and Kyle May (the driver of the 55) talked on Sunday. Both accepted part of the blame and said there were absolutely no hard feelings on either side. Kyle stated that he was glad that Dillan was still able to go on to get a decent finish and it didn’t ruin his night. We hate that it ended Kyle’s night as he had a hot rod and was coming to the front after starting deep in the field.

This is how more of these situations should be handled and we look forward to racing with Kyle in the future.

We have ball games, a baby shower, and a velvet hunt all going on this weekend so no racing for us. Good luck to everyone racing. We should see yall somewhere next weekend.
