20 days until the returns! We’re working on the 2026 finisher shirt, getting ride submission ready, and preparing for another round of questionable decisions on Galloping Goose.

September 24 - October 25. 50 miles. One trail. 24 hours. Are you taking on the Galloping Goose 50 Mountain Bike Challenge this year?

And because why not make those questionable decisions count for more. Fundraise for the Crew while you ride - the top fundraiser wins a YETI Roadie 15 Cooler thanks to Crosby Ace Hardware!

Fundraising is totally optional. Bragging rights are inevitable.

DIRTCAST THURSDAY | September 3 | Long weekend = more friends on the dirt!

→ Expect busy trails this weekend. Say hello, give each other some space, and remember we’ve got riders of all ages + abilities out there playing bikes!

→ Follow the directional signs, pull fully off the trail when you stop, and give the rider in front of you a little breathing room.

We hope the red dirt of Cuyuna brings you all the stoke. Have a rad Labor Day weekend!

We have a ton of new followers, so let us introduce ourselves! We’re the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew, aka the Crew, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping keep Cuyuna’s singletrack rippin’.

Our trails are volunteer-powered and community-backed. Memberships, donations, and local + corporate partnerships give our volunteers the tools and resources to keep them rolling.

One direction. Plenty of mileage to have a good time. Did you know Cuyuna’s singletrack is one-way, with the exception of a few connector trails running both directions? One example is the short spur connecting the paved trail to Haul Road in the Yawkey Unit.

We think we can all agree the worst way to make new riding buddies is to meet them head-on 😅 ride smart! We’ll see you on the dirt.

We know we already posted a video of the Cuyuna Lakes HS MTB Team working with us out on Bobsled, but we’re just so proud of these riders. Watching them hit the dirt with tools in hand was pretty rad.

Want to get your team, company, organization, or group of friends out for a trail work day with the Crew? Reach out to [email protected]. We need all the help we can get and would love to hit the dirt with you!
