Freshman Phenom Ryleigh Boles Sparks A Bright Future for The Rock Hill Redwomen Earned (OVC) And All-District Honorable Mention 2026.
Ryleigh Boles, # 4 a standout student-athlete from Rock Hill High School (Ironton, Ohio), has officially earned Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and All-District Honorable Mention accolades for the Spring 2026 high school softball season. Performance Highlights Boles has put together an exceptional freshman campaign for the Rock Hill Redwomen: Consistency at the Plate: She maintained a stellar offensive rhythm, featuring multi-hit performances like going 3-for-4 with 4 runs in a critical victory against Fairland. Extra-Base Power: She added crucial dimensions to Rock Hill's lineup by stepping up in high-leverage conference matchups, frequently driving in runs with multiple doubles.-Way Versatility: In addition to her elite hitting stats, she served as a key asset on the pitching mound, notably locking down a 5-strikeout game against Oak Hill earlier in the season. Boles' breakthrough freshman season is no surprise to the local community. She has been competing alongside many of her current varsity teammates since childhood, including playing for the local 8U All-Star softball teams. This long-standing chemistry with fellow Redmen standouts like Khloe Kline, Kylee Brooks, and Aubrey Malone has created a seamless transition into the varsity ranks. The Debut Spark: In an early-season 3–2 victory against the Gallia Academy Blue Devils, Boles went 1-for-2, smacking a critical double and scoring her first varsity run. Consistent Production: She quickly elevated her numbers, maintaining a stellar .375 batting average and .375 on-base percentage early in the campaign. The Multi-Hit Threat: Boles stepped up as a focal point in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) landscape. In a dominant team offensive performance against Fairland, she logged a 3-hit game. She repeated that 3-for-4 masterclass in a late-April rally against the Fairland Lady Dragons.- Boles' impact isn't limited to her bat. She handles duties on the rubber, earning a game ball earlier in the season after a fierce battle against Oak Hill where she struck out 5 batters.
Ryleigh Boles is listed as a freshman (Class of 2029) on the varsity softball team at Rock Hill High School, where she wears jersey #4 and is identified as a utility player (UTIL). She also participates in varsity volleyball. ([MaxPreps.com][1])
