Thank you to all who attended the Samsons Basketball camp this summer! It was a great turnout, totaling over 90 campers, with athletes who traveled over 7 hours to be here for camp!!

We had a great deal of help and want to give shoutouts to Ward Helakoski, Paul Zysk, Rukus Betlewski, Gordy Kohegyi, Tara Tregembo, McKenzie Sharrow, women's basketball players, and men's basketball players. Monica Ramme helped with administration duties, Chris Bentley and maintenance are rockstars of setup, and Kari Klemme for all of our social media and online registration process! Thank you for everything!!

UP Power! Spotlight: Dennis Mackey Mackey retired on May 31 after an illustrious 38-year career at Gogebic Community College.

Due to a lack of teams, we are postponing the Pickleball Tournament to AUGUST 30th! Mark your calendars and plan to join the fun at the end of the summer! A link to sign up will be posted in July, so be on the look out!

Do you love to play Pickleball competitively?!?! We have the event for you! The GCC Samsons are hosting a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, June 20th, beginning at 9am. There is a $50 cost per team and the winners will go home with their very own 'Pickle' trophy! There will be 3 different divisions: Mens Open, Women's Open, and Mixed Open. Men's and Women's Open will go first in the morning starting at 9AM, with Mixed Open starting at 1PM.
