Before you compare yourself to anyone else, remember that everyone is dealing with something.

I see a lot of kids and parents weekly; training and knowing there’s such a want and need to get better. But there’s been a disconnect created since the sport has grown.

With all the extra lessons, team practices, tournaments out of state, and other things families have to BE at, we forget that GETTING BETTER is more than just showing up.

Years. Life. Loss. Growth.

This picture means a lot to me because a work connection became family;
Because I know exactly how proud Brent is;
Because it shows the nature of my business and I can be proud of it;

In 2016, I had been in business officially for 2 years.

I wanted to capture all that I had built and I wanted to spring board forward with my first-ever photo shoot for just me.

Enter Damien: the perfect guy for the job.

In hindsight, I had no clue of the ups and downs I’d hit in the years following but those picture show how much hope and strength was there in the beginning.

6 years later, it’s a new ballgame and I’m so excited for the new chapter.

My lessons are FULL of girls and great families and learning and more possibility than I could have known back in 2016.

Thank you Maxx and Reese for capturing another chapter for me. These pictures will forever remind me of who I was in 2022: now deeper in, but still hopeful for what’s to come; now knowing strength comes in so many forms and I’ll need all types as it’s only just begun.
