OCIGK classes now available in Tustin, CA

OCIGK now open in Tustin The OCIGK is expanding with our newest location in Tustin, CA. The OCIGK classes are available today in the City of Tustin Parks & Recreation catalog.

No Classes Sat 6/4 at Deerfield.
There will no classes on Saturday, June 4th, 2022. The regular schedule will resume the following week.

October 9th - OCIGK to demo at the Irvine Global Village Festival (Join the OCIGK Demo Team)

The Orange County Irvine Goshin-Kai will be demonstrating at the Irvine Global Village Festival on October 9, 2021. Our performance will be from 11:30-12:00 pm.

This is a fast paced demo, choreographed to music featuring katas, weapons, bunkais (fighting sequence), and the popular board breaking exhibition.

OCIGK DEMO TEAM IS FORMING NOW

All registered students are welcome to join the demo team. There is no cost to join but a commitment to the additional demo practices and rehearsal is required. The exact time and location will be announced but plan on an hour on Sat 9/11, 9/18,, 9/25, and Oct 2nd.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCSD with B.S. in Bio Chemistry and Cell Biology. Pursuing MD awaiting acceptance into medical school.

Andre (Left) received his black belt in 2010. Today, he is Sensei Andre, 2nd degree black, 2nd Lieutenant in the United States National Guard, Director of Security at OC Rescue Mission where he opened a Karate program in January. His Father (Right) in the picture was an orange belt then and is now Sensei George, 2nd degree black belt, and one of our senior instructors.
