🏆 18U PLATINUM NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SPOTLIGHT! 🥎🔥
ONE SWING. ONE TITLE. A MOMENT THAT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. 💥
In an electric 18U Platinum Championship showdown, Athletics Mercado – Potter/Hovermale and Athletics Tamborra/Freeman battled through seven intense innings, with clutch pitching, opportunities, and a dramatic comeback keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.
After trailing 2-0, Tamborra/Freeman rallied to tie it at 2-2 in the sixth, setting the stage for a winner-take-all seventh inning.
Then came the moment that changed everything. With two runners on and the championship on the line, Lacy VanTuinen, a Mississippi State commit, launched a NO-DOUBT WALK-OFF HOME RUN to seal a stunning 5-2 victory and crown Athletics Mercado – Potter/Hovermale NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆💣
In the circle, Michigan signee Mia Valbuena went the distance, striking out nine in a championship performance for the ages.
Seven innings of battle. One unforgettable swing. One national championship.🔥👏

🏆This week we’re spotlighting the 16u Premier NATIONAL CHAMPIONS, Beverly Bandits Moran/Lewis! 🥎🔥
The Bandits brought the bats and the arms to the title game, earning a dominant 7-1 victory over the BSC Bengals!
🔥 Adeline Shultz (2027 Arizona State commit) was nearly untouchable, holding the Bengals hitless into the sixth inning and finishing her six-inning outing with just two hits allowed, six strikeouts and one earned run. After a long week of competition, she battled through traffic and consistently pitched out of trouble before Paige Visser (2027 Kent State commit) came in to close it out with her effective dropball.
💥 Offensively, the Bandits collected 10 hits, led by a huge day from Hunter Hopkins (4-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 run) and Kira Bailey (3-for-4, 3 runs, 1 RBI). Timely hitting, aggressive baserunning and smart ex*****on helped the Bandits build an early lead and seal the championship!
👏 From dominant pitching to clutch offense, this was a complete team effort and a championship performance to remember!

🏆 This week, we’re spotlighting the 16u Platinum National Championship Game🏆
Unity – Attard/Johnson capped off an absolutely dominant week at PGF Nationals with an 8-0, five-inning run-rule victory to claim the 16U Platinum National Championship!
💪 10 WINS. ZERO LOSSES. ZERO TIMES TRAILING. Unity outscored its opponents 112-5 throughout the tournament and never let up on its way to the title!
🌟 Championship Game Standouts: 🥎 Mak Savage — Opened with four perfect innings, recorded two strikeouts, and went 2-for-3 at the plate with a clutch RBI triple! 🔥 Kenzie Jackson — Took over in the circle and delivered a perfect final inning to complete a combined five-inning perfect game with ZERO hits and ZERO walks allowed! 💥 Leah Catto — Led the way with a 2-for-3 performance and an RBI. ⚡ Camron Piercy — Went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI. 👏 Avery Munson, Cameron Percy, Bella Attard and the entire Unity lineup contributed to an offensive attack that scored in every inning!
With eight players recording hits and seven driving in runs, this was a total team effort from start to finish. Head Coach Adam Attard and his staff had this squad firing on all cylinders all week long!
🏆 10-0. 112 RUNS SCORED. NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. What a statement by Unity – Attard/Johnson! Congratulations!
