🎣 THE SEASON ISN’T OVER YET! 🎣

Our last official scheduled charter is September 16th, but that doesn’t mean we’re done fishing!

Going forward, we’ll be making a list of anyone who still wants to get out on the lake. When we see a good, fishable weather window, we’ll start calling or texting people a day or two ahead of time to see who’s ready to go!

There is still LOTS of great fishing left this season, and we plan to take advantage of it whenever Mother Nature lets us. 🎣

We’ll be offering:
• Bottom bouncing
• Trolling
• Jigging
• Nighttime trolling 🌙🎣

If you want to be on the call list, shoot us a message and let us know! You might not get much notice, but if the weather cooperates, we’ll be ready to fish.

Today we had Justin Koschara and his son Weston from Excavation Services, along with Jeremy Mummau and his son Braden from Martin Water Conditioning, out with us!

It was definitely a challenging day for some newbies on the lake. 🎣 Fish didn’t want to stay on the hooks, boats were in the way, seasickness made an appearance (with a little chumming of the waters 🤢😂), and the lake couldn’t quite make up her mind. She didn’t know if she wanted to blow from the southeast or send us swells from the southwest!

But these guys never quit! They did everything they needed to do to get their fish in the boat and kept at it through every challenge the lake threw at them.

Even with all the craziness, it was a fun day on the water. We’re so glad you guys chose to spend the day with Reel Time Charters! 🎣

Sometimes you gotta earn ’em and today, these guys definitely did! 💪

🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Today, Reel Time Charters pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday Americans who showed incredible courage in the face of tragedy.

25 years later, we still remember where we were. We still honor their sacrifice. And we will never forget the way our country came together.

May God bless the families who carry that loss every day, our first responders, our military, and the United States of America. 🇺🇸

9.11.01 — Never Forget.

🎣 From fire drills in the morning to “where did all the fish go?!” in the afternoon! 😂

After wrapping up our two-boat charter Tuesday morning, we turned around and headed back out around 2 with our friend Doug and his buddy Bob. With Wednesday’s forecast not looking too friendly, we switched things up to take advantage of Tuesday’s weather and we’re glad we did!

Naturally, we headed right back to the spot where we had fire drills all morning. Only one problem…

The screen was BLANK. 😳

Where did they go?!

We wandered around searching and finally started picking away at them. Every S-turn seemed to produce another fish, and before long they were coming in at a pretty steady pace. Looking at the screen, it was hard to believe we were catching anything at all!

But the fish made sure Bob knew they were still down there especially on those 10-color, 600-foot lead core rods. You know… Bob’s favorite setup. 🤣 Hands cramping, arms burning… he absolutely loved every second of it!

Okay, maybe not. 😂🎣

Thanks, Doug and Bob, for adjusting your schedules so we could beat the weather and get you guys out on the lake!

🎣 Now THAT was a company fishing trip! 🎣

Yesterday we had the pleasure of running a two-boat trip for Matt and David King from R&R Builders and Sons LLC, along with their crew...and what a trip it was!

The walleyes came fast and furious with doubles, triples, and even TWO quads hitting the boats! 🔥🎣 And just to make the day even more memorable, the guys added a couple bonus fish to the mix...a rainbow trout AND a lake trout!

These are the kinds of trips we love. Great fishing is always a win, but when you add in good people, nonstop laughs, stories, and a crew just enjoying a day together on the water, it makes it that much better.

Thanks to Matt, David, and the entire R&R Builders and Sons crew for choosing Reel Time Charters for your company fishing trip! We had an absolute blast with you guys.

See you next summer

When Saturday’s charter didn’t come together, we decided to make the most of the beautiful morning and turn it into a family fun day on the lake! 🎣❤️

And the fish definitely cooperated!

🐟 3-man limit — 18 walleyes
🐟 8 perch
🐟 6 white perch
🐟 5 sheepshead

But the best part was plenty of teasing, joking, laughing, and just enjoying a nice, relaxing morning together on the boat. Sometimes an unexpected open day turns into exactly what you need!

We still have September charter dates available, and there’s plenty of time to get out there and fill those freezers before the season winds down. Whether you want to troll or bottom bounce, we’ll get you on the fish and make a great day out of it.

Yesterday we had Doug and his family aboard, his son Jeff and grandsons Gavin and Colin, and what an incredible morning of fishing! 🎣

There were plenty of boats out, and we lost a few fish right out of the gate, but it didn’t take long before we settled in and found a nice steady pace of fish coming over the rail.

Bait. Set. Reel. Net. Repeat. That was the theme of the morning! 😂🎣

Nothing better than having a family out on the water together, making memories and putting fish in the boat.
