On behalf of everyone at Irwindale Speedway, thank you to all the fans, drivers, teams, families, and friends who joined us for our Farewell Extravaganza on Saturday.

It has been an incredible 25-year run for this amazing facility, and we’re grateful that so many people were here with us to close out this iconic chapter of California motorsports history.

Irwindale Speedway has been more than a racetrack. It’s been a home away from home for many, and the champions, families and the community we’ve built is something that will never go away.

We thank and appreciate every single person who has ever supported our dream and built a lasting memory with us. It may have been in the grandstands with your friends or family, it could have been in the driver’s seat or the pits during a race, or as part of our team as a partner or staff member.

In the end, everyone has been vital to the Irwindale Speedway story!

This event was created for our community—a grand finale showcasing the numerous divisions, series and special events that have become fan favorites over the years. This was for the fans, the drivers and teams, and our partners and people.

It’s not easy knowing that this was the final run, but just know that this is not the last chapter—it’s just the beginning of the next one.

And for many of our competitors, Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway will become the new home for short track racing in California—and we hope you’ll join us there for our next chapter!
