Out with the Off Road Speed Energy Team!

Daytona is a couple of weeks away and the 2016 NASCAR Whelan Charger series is just around the corner. We are wrenching on the #51 truck and can't wait to hit the track again! Some pictures of last season..

It was a great weekend of racing with great friends. We practiced on Friday night trying to get dialed in for the twin 30 lap main events on Saturday night. We didn't qualify very well due to me over-driving the truck, so we started 15th in both races. We stayed out of some wrecks and finished 10th in the first race and 12th in the second feature. The tire temps said the the truck was tight, but it felt very loose exiting the corners. The team unanimously said it was the driver! Time to learn how to smooth things out entering the corners. We did get the truck around the 1/2 mile in under 20 seconds for the first time which was outstanding. Darren, Pat, Rick, and Todd were awesome! Such great guys to put in all that work so I can drive this truck. Next race is June 6th. I can't wait!
