Islamorada Junior Sailfish Tournament

🎣 Open to anglers 16 & under, this nonprofit tournament fosters passion, skill, and tradition in the heart of Islamorada.

Join us for our 61st Anniversary event, December 11 - 13, 2026.

💙 Register now and support youth sportfishing! Since 1964, the Islamorada Junior Sailfish Tournament has celebrated the tradition of youth fishing in the Florida Keys. Originally a division under the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament, the event has introduced generations of kids to the thrill of offshore fishing, sportsmanship, and conservation. For 61 years, families and captains have come together to pass down skills, honor the ocean, and shape the next wave of anglers. The IJST is more than a tournament, it’s a living piece of Florida Keys history.

🇺🇸 Stars, stripes, and sailfish 🇺🇸

This Fourth of July, we’re celebrating the freedom to chase sunrises, make memories on the water, and pass along a love for fishing to the next generation.

Here’s to family traditions, tight lines, and the red, white, and blue that bring us together. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Some of the best lessons in life aren’t taught in a classroom—they’re learned on a boat. Through early mornings, long days on the water, and stories shared between bites, fathers, grandfathers, and mentors help shape the next generation of anglers.

Whether you’re running the boat, rigging baits, calling out fish, or simply making memories that last a lifetime, your impact goes far beyond the catch. Thank you for teaching sportsmanship, perseverance, respect for the water, and a love for the outdoors.

Today, we celebrate the men who pass down more than fishing knowledge—they pass down traditions, values, and a passion that carries from one generation to the next.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at the Islamorada Junior Sailfish Tournament.

Sun, salt, and a weekend at Lefty Kreh’s Tie Fest ☀️🎣

From tournament sails to springtime fishing, the next generation keeps it rolling and Free Fly always shows up. The Colorblock Bamboo Shade Hoodie for youth is a no-brainer. Lightweight, breathable, and built for it all.

Parents… the Sullivan Collection isn’t a bad idea either 👀
