Transplant Update‼️ Tucky needs help!
Over the past few weeks, you have all been very supportive of our big fella, Tucky! He is literally the heart of our club & it is obvious we would do anything for him. During his engine transplant we uncovered many other medical issues that required attention:
Belt & Water pump
Alternator
Belt tensioner & Fuel pump
Radiator Struts
Return hose on the turbo
Crankcase breather hose
Oil dipstick
Fuel injectors
Fuel lines
These expenses are all above & beyond our original long block purchase.
The insurance company (VAST) had pre-approved a portion of the transplant and they can only do so much. We truly appreciate all of their help!
After our insurance coverage, we still find ourselves with an out of pocket pre-season expense of $6,500. This may put us at risk to cover any in-season equipment needs.
