Step back in time at Drayton Hall, one of the best-preserved examples of 18th-century American architecture, for an elegant afternoon honoring the art of tea. 🍵
Begin with an exclusive tour of our historic home, guided by Curator Amber Satterthwaite, exploring tea culture and social traditions of the 18th century in Charleston.

Following the tour, enjoy a curated tea tasting and presentation on the rich history of tea by Richard Kligler — from ancient dynasties to colonial drawing rooms.

Today Richard Kligler will join us for a tea tasting, Founder of For All the Tea, offers immersive guided tastings of the world's finest loose-leaf Chinese teas. With 12 years of experience living in Hong Kong, he deeply engaged with the rich traditions of tea culture, studying fine teas and visiting historic tea regions across China.
At Talucci’s Bakery , Richard will be crafting tea with traditional Chinese tea ware and inviting everyone to enjoy a flavorful tastings experience.

Tomorrow I will be joining for a wonderful tea tasting experience alongside an exquisite collection of freshly baked Italian goods!

We are now proudly offering our teas and teaware at their downtown Summerville location. We can’t wait to see you there!
