Dear Valued Hustle House fam,
It is with mixed emotions that I write to you today to share some news about Hustle House. After much contemplation and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to close our beloved studio.
This decision was not made lightly. Hustle House has been more than just a studio; it has been a community, a place where friendships were formed, and memories were made. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve each and every one of you, and I am deeply grateful for your support, loyalty, and trust throughout this journey.
While it saddens me to say goodbye, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences we shared and the connections we forged. I believe this is the right decision for me in the next chapter of my life and the ever-growing demands of my family.
I want to express my heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing clients and talented trainers, who have been a part of this incredible journey. Your passion, dedication, and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind Hustle House’s success, and I am profoundly grateful for each and every one of you.
As we transition into this new chapter, I encourage you to stay connected with each other and continue your dedication to fitness.
I will be offering morning small group trainings at times similar to HH class times beginning in April. For more information, please email [email protected].
Our incredibly talented Sports Performance Director, Toi will also be holding private and semi-private youth trainings. For more information, please reach out to Toi directly or email [email protected]
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and for being a part of the Hustle House family. I will cherish the memories we created together and carry them with me always.
This Friday, from 5:30pm-7pm we will be saying Farewell to Hustle House with a social at Rolling Log, hosted by .realtor. Did you hear the groundhog did not see his shadow? Early spring is coming! 🤯 Get ready for t-shirts and tanks during the month of February with our Push Up Challenge!
While a push up is often thought of as a chest exercise, it also works the triceps, anterior deltoids, core muscles, as well as the pectoralis major and minor. A bang for your buck!
We will start with 10 push ups during class in week 1 and increase each week to 15, 20 and 25. The goal is to do them EVERY DAY whether you can make it to class or not.
If you can’t make class, video or take a pic of your push ups and email it to [email protected].
At the end of the month, we will have a Push Up Off and the person who can do the most push ups with proper form will be crowned the winner!

Hustle House focus heavily on strength training (yes cardio lovers, we do incorporate cardio as well) - but do you know why? Strength training is a VERY important part of your overall fitness routine. Take a look at just a few of the major benefits:
1. INCREASED STRENGTH – strength training requires your muscles to work against a weight or a force. This breaks down the muscle fiber (actually damaging the tissue) which once recovered from, comes back bigger and stronger. In addition to lifting itself, incorporating progressive overload (a term we will discuss in a future post) can help make major strength gains.
2. MAINTAINING MUSCLE MASS - as we age, our lean muscle naturally decreases, which ultimately slows down our metabolism and increases body fat percentage. Strength training is the best and most effective thing you can do to preserve your lean muscle and build more to counteract the aging process.
3. INCREASED METABOLISM – studies show that the more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolism, or the rate at which calories you burn while at work AND at rest. Ever heard the term “muscle burns more than fat?” It’s true.
4. IMPROVED BONE HEALTH – strength training causes stress to your bones, ultimately leading to improved bone density and strength. This reduces the risk of broken bones and diseases like osteoporosis.
To reap the benefits of strength training, beginners should look to incorporate it a minimum of 2-3 times per week incorporating all major muscle groups.
Happy lifting!
