Lately, life has brought many emotions, changes, and reflections. Through it all, I’m deeply grateful for my communities as a constant source of strength, wisdom, and support. May the New Year bring healing, growth, and joy.
I’m also incredibly thankful to be celebrating 4 years of Arise Yoga & Wellness and achieving my Level 2 Certification!💜My heart is full and I have so much love and gratitude for my wonderful students. It’s been an amazing journey of learning, growth, and exploration. Here’s to embracing new opportunities and continuing on this beautiful path together.🥰

Yoga and meditation are often seen as separate practices, but they are deeply connected. Yoga is a gateway to meditation. It preps the body, calms the mind, and improves the flow of energy. Yoga teaches us to surrender, deepen self-awareness and turn inward. And in this state of stillness, meditation becomes more accessible.

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the many gifts this year has brought – learning, growth, and beautiful connections. Extending my deepest gratitude to all of you for showing up on your mats, sharing your energy, and enriching every class. Your unwavering support and trust have made this year truly special.
One highlight of 2024 was co-hosting a yoga retreat on Bainbridge Island, where we fostered a sacred community, experienced healing, shared laughter, and embraced the beauty of nature.
As we step into 2025, may it bring us a deeper understanding and awareness of yoga’s true purpose—to cultivate self-awareness, inner peace, and spiritual connection. At its core, yoga offers tools for navigating life’s challenges and fostering a sense of purpose in life.
