Come join our historical and unique lineage from, Sijo Yip Man Sigung Bruce Lee, Sifu Taky Kimura! Get in shape and learn a bit of skill at the same time!
Welcome to our page and I hope you like what you see. Our lineage comes down from Sibak Yip Man, Sijo Bruce Lee to Sigung Taky Kimura - The Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute which is now run by Andy Kimura. Also very notable is we had additional rare tutelage from Roy Hollingsworth, a former welter weight boxing champ in England along with his brothers, soccer player and SAS British Special Force
s. When the Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute closed in 2001 until around 2003, our school was founded in 2001 by senior students Abe Santos, Mike Hilow, Mark Mitman, Mark Allen, Bob Hart, Scott Lindemuth, Mike Bennett JoAnne Duvall and head instructor Chris Sato. Abe Santos and Mike Hilow run their current school, the Jun Fan Gung Fu Academy. The current instructors are Darryl Eng & Mark Mitman (one of the few students given rank from Sigung Taky in the early days). Darryl has been with the club since 1987. He started training at 12 years old in 1974 with Jesse Glover, Bruce's first student. We have been enthusiast of martial arts for many years and just enjoy keeping in shape so we can continue eating with out getting fat! We've been working out together for over 30 years now! Also note, this style of martial arts was developed by a woman to fend off men. Bruce Lee put this to good use and no one ever called him a girly man! So gals, come on down! Come down to our club in Issaquah. We are a non profit club and we don't pay ourselves for instruction as passed down from Sigung! Our workouts are mixed providing an hour of calisthenics and cardio for the first hour then about an hour of martial arts, boxing and various other forms. However, our base is in Jeet Kune Do/Wing Chun. We workout on Mon and Thurs nights from 8-10pm. Each class runs $7.50! Yes, that's right, just to help us cover rent. We have 2 programs, either $30 for once a week or $60 for twice a week! We share space with Novalife Fitness and we're located at , 740 Newport Wy NW, Issaquah, WA 98027. You can contact us via our page for more info.

This is a great example of close quarter Wing Chun fighting technique. This is what I teach. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19EN6JVv7Q/ This also evolves into close quarter combat techniques with or without weapons. Krav Maga, kenpo karate, silat and Filipino martial arts are also similar.
When Bruce Lee was once asked in an interview how much room he needed to fight, he responded, "I only need one inch." That had everything to the the one inch punch concept and how it's applied in close quarter combat.
