🌟 Spotlight Member: Glenn & Wesley 🌟
How we met 👇🏾
This is a fun one! While training one of my clients from his office building, we would regularly jog around Front St. and Sunset St. During those runs we’d always pass the beautiful Photography building, and the owner, Brooke, would see us out there almost daily.
During our holiday clothing drive—held outside in the parking lot behind —Brooke approached me and asked if I was the infamous Trey Young, the former trainer from the 24 Hour Fitness down the street that closed during the pandemic. I laughed and said, “Yep, that’s me!”
She wanted to surprise her husband Glenn with personal training sessions as a Christmas gift. Needless to say, Glenn quickly became more than just a client. Over time we’ve shared life stories, successes, and future goals.
I’ve also had the opportunity to train Glenn and Brooke’s son Wesley weekly. Wesley is definitely one to watch as he continues to develop his game at a high level and will be making some noise at the high school level here in a couple of years.
From January 12, 2021—starting in a garage gym—to The Vault and now the expansion of The Vault, Glenn has been part of the journey, always showing up and dropping some great life nuggets along the way.
This is what community is all about. 💪🏾
