Lansing Avenue Resurfacing Project – Traffic Impacts

Blackman Charter Township, MI – The Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT) would like to inform the public that resurfacing work will take place on Lansing Avenue between the Jackson city limits and Parnall Road beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2026, with the project expected to be completed and the roadway fully reopened by Friday, July 31, 2026, weather permitting.

Traffic will be maintained throughout construction. One lane of traffic will remain open in both the northbound and southbound directions at all times. Local traffic will continue to have access, and all businesses along the corridor will remain open during the project.

Motorists should expect intermittent delays, reduce speeds, and use extra caution while traveling through the work zone. When possible, drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes to minimize congestion.

JCDOT appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to provide a smoother, safer roadway for the traveling public.

The Arena Jackson MI - Largest League Thursday June 18th

With May right around the corner, The Arena is jumping straight into preparation for the release of Riftbound: Unleashed! We're excited to have you all come in and join us for our two Pre-Rifts to celebrate the new set!

We will be hosting two pre-rifts, one on Friday May 1st at 6 pm and the second on Saturday May 2nd at 11 am. Each pre-rift is $35, and there will be a $5 discount for Saturday's pre-rift if you join us on Friday. Demand may be high, so please try to register early. We hope to see you all there!

With Summoner Skirmish Season around the corner, The Arena is announcing our first Shadow Summoner Skirmish next Friday April 10th at 6 pm! It's going to be a long night with top cut predicted to start at midnight, so make sure you're all well rested and ready for the long haul!

Registration is $20, and includes 3 Spiritforged packs, 1 Spiritforged Nexus pack, and 1 Longsword participation promo. Decklists will be required, and we will be enforcing the newest bans, so make sure to build your decks in mind with that! Registration will be from 5 to 6 pm, with us starting promptly afterwards.
