Huge Congratulations to Jonny Aswege and Will Netzel for earning All Tournament Honors at both the Badgerland State Basketball Tournament and the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship tournament! Jonny and Will led their team to close 2nd place finishes in both state tournaments. Great work boys! We cant wait to cheer you on in high school!

Hey 6th grade! The 6th Grade Jr. Chargers have wrapped up an extraordinary season with a WYBL Championship title! Their impressive run included victories over the top two seeds and a remarkable display of endurance, playing five games in a single day. This season has been a testament to their hard work, resilience, and collective growth. Congratulations, Jr. Chargers, on a phenomenal season and a well-deserved championship win! We look forward to seeing you at tryouts in August!

Our Jr. Chargers 4th graders have achieved something truly special, securing the title of 2025 WYBL Z League Champions! Their impressive 13-1 league record and unbeaten run in the end-of-season tournament showcase their dedication, perseverance, and talent.

Last weekend, our 5th grade Jr. Chargers took home second place in Mequon. Winning games vs Elkhorn and Waukesha North, finally culminating in a closely contested championship match against Oconomowoc.

The hard work and determination has been on full display during this final stretch of the season! Keep it up boys!

4th Grade!! Let's gooo! The Jr. Chargers showcased their skills in Neenah this weekend, achieving a clean sweep against their opponents. They secured wins against Appleton West, host Neenah, and Waunakee, bringing home more championship hardware. Kudos to the fans who made the trip to cheer our team to victory!

It was an unforgettable weekend for our 6th Grade Jr. Chargers as they traveled to Wausau for the 2025 Noon Optimists Tournament! Over two days, more than 92 teams from across Wisconsin came together for an incredible weekend of competitive basketball.

Our Jr. Chargers had a standout performance, securing impressive victories over Merrill, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, and Mosinee in pool play. These wins earned them a well-deserved spot in the championship game against a tough Newman Catholic team. Despite leading at halftime, our Chargers ultimately fell short in the final, as Newman Catholic battled hard to secure the win.

Though we didn’t come home with the trophy, the weekend was full of valuable lessons and growth for our boys. Their effort, teamwork, and development throughout the tournament were outstanding, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they represented!

A huge thank you to all the parents and families who made the trip to Wausau to cheer on our team – your support means the world! We’re already looking forward to our next matchup with Newman Catholic! 😁

On December 14th and 15th, Kettle Moraine Lutheran hosted the annual Jr. Chargers Basketball tournament, welcoming over 30 teams from our surrounding area. With all of our teams competing diligently and representing our school well, our 8th grade Green Team overcame an early 12-point deficit and 11 three-pointers from a sharp shooting Laconia team to mount a remarkable second-half comeback, securing the only KML Championship of the weekend. The Chargers employed stellar defense and 13 three-pointers of their own to surpass visiting Laconia. The decisive three-pointer for the win was made by Jonny Aswege with 4 seconds remaining.

We extend our gratitude to all participating teams for their involvement in this year's KML Jr. Chargers Tournament and look forward to seeing you next year!
