It's coming - the close of the outdoor season - big finale

10/26/2026

This weekend was Adventure's 5th Annual USSSA Halloween Softball Tournament.
Lots of fun and energy on Saturday with over 80 teams and then Sunday down to business as the competition fought for the ring event.

We had a number of great costumes , themes and this year - coaches really leaned into the costume role!

We had an overall team winner - South Shore Reign, come from Long Island as Purple Rain. Everyone loved it and they went all in - with lighted purple umbrellas to Prince songs for walk up.
Received everyone's Vote . As much as they were a sure thing, so many teams put in great efforts and we thank them for adding to this years event.

We added extra prizes because of the efforts -

Best theme - NJ Heat for representing the cold weather event

Best Pose - Blue Angels

Best Character - Nj Ruthless

DHAA Red Devils 12u Fredette - amazing tribute to Dolly, and coaches played the part!

Lady Dukes Plevier - "The Cereal killers " again because the coaches just went all out.

Just too funny not to give an award - award to NY Cobras Black and to Kaboom 10u for their coaches steller costume and pic !

Dads of the Diamonds - Chaos , for making everyone laugh and the pose by the coach and the player in front - omg

Thank you for enduring and making this a great event!

Not bad early morning thoughts

🥎 BEFORE YOU GO TO BED TONIGHT… REFLECT.

The games are over. The equipment is put away. Take a quiet moment with the Lord.

We remember the hits, errors, and final scores—but think about the moments between the plays.

Did you encourage a teammate who was struggling?
Did you speak patiently to your child?
Did you treat the umpire with respect?
Did your attitude point others toward Jesus?

“Search me, O God, and know my heart!”
—Psalm 139:23, ESV

Thank Him for the good moments. Confess where you fell short. Ask forgiveness from someone you hurt.

Then rest in His grace. You don’t have to replay every mistake all night.

Your relationship with Christ matters long after the scoreboard goes dark. ❤️
