At TN Prime, our standard is high and that extends well beyond physical ability. We are committed to fostering an environment where athletes can develop their craft, cultivate mental discipline, and compete at a high level. We are looking for dedicated athletes across all positions who are ready to push themselves and grow within our organization.

Coach Reveal: Player Development Coach

Ivy Knight!

We are thrilled to announce that Ivy Knight is joining the TN Prime staff as a Player Development Coach! Ivy played the past two seasons at JSCC. Initially committing as a catcher/outfielder, she quickly stepped into a role that wasn't the norm, establishing herself as the Jays' starting 3rd baseman. Her athleticism speaks for itself through her impressive career stats: .370 AVG, .426 OBP, and a .940 fielding percentage. In her final season at Jackson, Ivy finished fourth in the conference in doubles. Ivy will serve TN Prime as a Player Development Coach, with plans to eventually take over as head coach of one of our 18U teams.

“Ivy Knight is one of one. I could coach for 30 more years and never coach another Ivy. She is a doer. She keeps her head down and does exactly what she is supposed to do, and then does more. Ivy’s career at Jackson was phenomenal, not just statistically, but because of her ability to do whatever the team needed from her. Third base is a tough position in our league, yet she played it like she’d been there her whole life. For TN Prime, Ivy is going to continue to be 'Ivy.' She will do whatever is necessary to get the job done: filling gaps as needed, teaching the game, and sharing her strong fundamentals with our athletes. I am excited to see her step into a coaching role this fall; I have no doubt that she’ll be great, just like she always is.”
