With very heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision that Bob's Blueberries will not be opening for the 2026 season.
What we initially thought was a delay in ripening turned out to be a severe bird issue. Unfortunately, the birds have decimated our crop to the point that there simply aren't enough berries for a U-pick season.
We know many of you were looking forward to visiting, and we're truly sorry to disappoint you. We appreciate your patience over the last couple of weeks and are incredibly grateful for your support of our small family farm.
We're already looking ahead and planning ways to better protect next year's crop. Thank you for sticking with us, and we hope to see you in 2027 with a patch full of blueberries.
💙 Thank you for understanding. — Bob's Blueberries

🫐 Blueberry Update 🫐
Unfortunately, we won't be opening tomorrow after all.
I was really hoping this stretch of heat would finish ripening the berries, but Mother Nature has other plans. They're just not quite ready yet, and we'd rather wait a little longer than have you come out to find disappointing picking.
At this point, we're hoping to open Monday or Tuesday, but we'll keep a close eye on the berries and post an update as soon as we know for sure. We could really use a good soaking rain!
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We can't wait to welcome you out as soon as the berries are ready!

These blueberries sure took their sweet time ripening this year, but we're finally ready for you! 🫐
I do anticipate a shorter season than in previous years, and we may have occasional closures to allow more berries to ripen. Pre-picked blueberries will also be limited, so if you're able, please come prepared to pick your own as a backup plan.
We can't wait to see you at the farm!

🫐 Blueberry Update! 🫐
All of our varieties are now in the early to late green‑fruit stages, which means the patch is moving right along. We’re still on track for a mid‑July opening depending on how the bushes respond to the heat this week.
Stay tuned and save those containers!
I'd like to take a moment to thank Fordyce Farms for the hardworking bees that made our blooming season such a success! We’re already looking forward to that blueberry honey 🐝💙

🫐 Blueberry update! 🫐
The entire patch is officially past bloom and green berries are present! Rain dances are appreciated!
This time of year, I like to remind everyone to save up those fruit containers from the grocery store as we have a limited supply for transporting those delicious blueberries home!

Some of our early bushes are reaching the early — and even late — pink bud stages. If you look closely in the photos, you’ll spot a few corolla tubes starting to open. With help from our hardworking pollinators, every one of those blossoms will become a tasty blueberry! 🫐
