Hey Champ,

Tonight isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being present.

Every drill you ran.
Every early practice.
Every sprint when your legs were tired.

That’s already in your body.

Science side:
When the pressure rises, your nervous system wants to speed everything up — heart rate, breathing, thoughts. The best athletes don’t fight that… they control the rhythm.

So before tip-off:

• Inhale through your nose
• Slow exhale through your mouth
• Shoulders relaxed
• Eyes up

That tells your brain: I’m ready.

Your body knows how to play basketball.



Soul side:
Pressure isn’t punishment.
It’s proof you’re trusted with something big.

Remember this truth:

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

You’re not stepping on that court alone.



Sport side:
Here’s the athlete rule for tonight:

• Sprint the floor
• Play defense like the game depends on it
• Trust your teammates
• Next play mentality

Miss a shot?
Good. That means you’re shooting.

Turnover?
Steal it back.

Championship players don’t avoid mistakes.
They outwork them.

And one more thing…

Basketball secret from the biomechanics department:

Your legs win games.
Defense, rebounding, sprinting — that’s where championships are built.

So bring your legs. Bring your heart.



Fierce reminder:

You don’t need to be the star.

You need to be the spark.

The player who dives for the ball.
The one who runs the floor first.
The one who lifts the team when it gets loud.

That’s championship energy.
