LADY RAIDERS BROUGHT HOME THE BLUE!!!

On Saturday in Greenwood JA Lady Raider Basketball won the North 4A-Division 2 Championship over St. Joseph. Congrats to Coach Gantz and the Lady Raiders for their first State Championship together.

Yesterday the Lady Raiders beat St. Joseph 48-33 in the North 4A Division 2 Championship at Pillow Academy and improved to 18-11 on the season. They will face Jackson Prep on Tuesday in Flowood in the State 4A-D2 Semifinals.

Yesterday the Lady Raiders fell to East Rankin in the Semifinals of the North 4A Regional Tournament at Pillow Academy and fell to 17-11 on the season. They will face St. Joseph in the 3rd Place game today at 12:15pm.

Yesterday the Lady Raiders began play in the North 4A Regional Tournament at Pillow Academy against Starkville Academy. JA jumped out to an 11-2 lead and never looked back as they beat the Lady Vols 58-25 and improved to 17-10. They will face East Rankin Academy in the Semifinals tomorrow at 5:15pm.

Yesterday the Varsity Lady Raiders closed out the Raider Dome with Senior Night and a tough loss to Bayou Acadmey. JA finished the regular season at 16-10, 5-3. They will play next week in the North 4A Tournament at Pillow Academy.

Last night the JV Lady Raiders had their season come to an end as they fell to Prep 34-24 in the MAIS 4A Metro Junior High Basketball Tournament Semifinals.

Yesterday the MAIS 4A Metro Junior High Basketball Tournament Semifinals were held at The Raider Dome and in the first game MRA took down Hartfield 36-29 to advance to the Championship on Saturday at 12:30pm.
