Mohammed El Youssfi captured the men’s title in 43:26 with a decisive move over the Green Monster, while Chloé Herbiet claimed the women’s crown in 47:58 and was the first athlete across the finish line. Their outstanding performances exemplify the spirit, determination, and tradition of the Gate River Run, and we are proud to recognize them as this year’s champions.

Your legs might feel it today… and tomorrow Post-race soreness usually peaks 24–48 hours after the race, so don’t panic if you’re walking a little funny today. Here’s a simple Day 1–3 recovery plan to help you bounce back after the Gate River Run. How are the legs feeling today? ⬇️ Be honest.

The annual Jacksonville tradition returns where everyone learns new routes and shortcuts 😬 😅

Check these road closures before heading out and pay attention to the traffic alert signs put out along the course.

Race Day is almost here! 🎉

For 2026, the Gate River Run will start and finish at the Jacksonville Shipyards - 700 E. Bay Street

Remember: no parking at the Shipyards – refer to the parking map and follow signs and volunteers to the start line.

All 15K waves start from the same Bay Street start at 8:00 AM, with the 5K starting at 8:45 AM from that same line.

Use this map to see wave staging, restrooms, bag check, medical, and where to head after you finish for the post‑race party.

Before heading to packet pickup, take a moment to look up your bib number.

Having your bib number ready helps our volunteers find your packet faster and keeps lines moving for everyone.
