With an extremely heavy heart we say Good Bye to Osito. He was an icon of the Florida mtb scene capturing the joy of our community every race. No matter if you were from West Florida, North Florida, Central Florida, or South Florida, he made you feel special and welcome. He knew us all by name and that amazed us every race. He connected all of us with his words and his amazing photos. We will miss you Osito! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful photos with us every race, rest in peace 🙏🏻

February Segment Challenge is South x South in either direction depending on what day it is. Fastest February time wins for male and female. The Juniors are getting bored, can someone please beat them!! 😂 🙏🏻

The Markham Masher Sprint Endurance Race (FLE #1) was 3 10.8 mile laps for a total 32.4 miles of mostly twisty single track. Congrats to Bob G. for winning the Sprint Open Time Trial and laying down the 6th fastest time trial overall on Saturday. Sunday started with a crowded mass start, but once it shook out Bog G finished 2nd in Sprint Open, Kylie C. finished 3rd in Womens Sprint Open, and Jamie C. finished 4th in 40+ sprint. Next up is 12 hours of Santos where we’ll have teams as well as solo riders participating.

The Juniors continue to dominate the monthly challenge! Benjamin had a blistering time of 8:40 and grabbed the KOM, and Eliza emerged from hibernation and dusted off her bike for a QOM run of 11:12. The future is bright out at Hanna, so many juniors riding every day.

Gravel is fun! started the Florida Gravel Grinder series in beautiful Cary State Forest on a 17.2 mile track consisting of packed limestone, gravel, dirt, and a torturous quarter mile of sand. Congrats to for placing third in open women’s sprint (34.4 miles) in a thrilling 4 rider sprint at the line, Bob G for winning Men’s Open sprint, and for placing second in Men’s Open Sprint. Ashley D braved the marathon open women’s (68.8 miles 🤪), and Jamie C and Mike W raced in Open 40+ sprint. Thank you to , , and for an awesome race!
