He has gone down hill. Yesterday (and this morning) he has been in and out of consciousness. When he is ‘awake’ (but is not coherent), he moans about pain, but cannot tell us where.
Tammy and I have been praying that he can find relief. We’ve even accepted/asked God that the if the relief can only be found in Heaven, please take him Home.
I think this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. (Mom wasn’t in pain).
We’ll be in Macon for the foreseeable future.

Daddy is being moved to Macon for surgery. They believe the infection is in the hip replacement, so they will need to remove all the hardware that was put in last month. Dr said it will be a very invasive/painful procedure.

Please pray for the doctors, Daddy, Tammy Southerland Maxwell and I as we navigate this new pivot.

Keep Mr Bill in your prayers 🙏🏻

About36 years ago, Blount Island MPF Program began. It is still going strong. Contractors and USMC/NAVY tea.s working together to make a Program on paper to become a very needed Program still today to get troops and supplies to wherever in the world is needed. I for one am thankful for the wonderful opportunity to have work at Blount Islad. I started in 1986 and retires in 2019. Still lots of my coworkers are still there.

To all past, present and future workers, may Blount Island MPF continue. 🏝 Keep up the good work, it is still needed snd much alive and thankful for.
