Fletcher High School peeps listen up! A good friend of the store, Coach Clara Tennis, is having a Clinic on this Wednesday, Sep. 14th at 2pm after school. Registration is $20. Clinic is available for Fletcher high school students at any level of play.

You know that I coach tennis, but why not try another paddle sport? My goal is to get kids out and playing sports! I saw this on a pickle ball group here in Jax. If you’re interested, try it out!

Now is the time! I have a few spots open during the coolest parts of the day for 30 min lessons. Usually, this is reserved for only toddlers. Take a quick lesson on the court and then head over to your nearest pool to cool off!

These 30 mins lessons are best for,
• Toddlers (3-4 y/o)
• New tennis players
• Honing a specific area of play (technique or strategy)

Attention teens and adults! GoPro Tennis is selling a lot of their demo rackets. Demo rackets sell for way cheaper than retail value. You might get a racket for $60 that was originally $200+. Please don’t sit on this and go check them out.

Why would you or your teen need one of these rackets?
• Need a bigger size or heavier weight
• Higher quality rackets play better
• Back up racket in case a string pops

We’re almost a week away from summer! Start packing your tennis bag now with these essentials,

• Electrolyte tablets
• 2 Insulated water bottles (no plastic bottles)
• Sunscreen that can be easily applied
• Sports hat (no heavy cotton hats)
• Sunglasses
• Sports towel or hand towel
• Cooling neck towel or scarf
• Tennis bag and racket

Make sure to include all of these items in your child’s tennis bag. The summer heat is no joke! If we can keep them cool, they thrive. Let’s get on court!
