Every ride takes work.
In just the past few weeks, SORBA Jax crews have been out rebuilding Tillie Fowler, running work days at Trek Trails and Hanna Park,�clearing trees and brush at Black Creek and Nocatee, and pushing the running trail forward at Aterro Park.
You might not always see it, but you feel it every time you ride.

This weekend, SORBA Jax experienced a serious incident at one of our trail systems.
After being asked to pause work so we could ensure compliance with our agreement with the City of Jacksonville, an individual chose to disregard that direction and caused significant damage to both the newly renovated pump track and sections of the jump pit.
This was not a misunderstanding. It was vandalism. We are taking this matter seriously and have involved law enforcement.
As an organization, our responsibility goes beyond building great trails. We are stewards of these public spaces, and our partnership with the City is what allows us to create and maintain places for the entire community to ride. Protecting that relationship is non negotiable.
We know many of you are disappointed. We are too. A tremendous amount of time, effort, and care went into these recent improvements.
We are already working behind the scenes with our partners to assess the damage and plan the rebuild. With limited resources and equipment, restoration will take time.
We ask for your patience as we move through the next steps, and for your continued support as we rebuild.
SORBA Jax has always been powered by its community. That remains as strong as ever, and we will move forward together.
