Another day another workout…

Starting my first cut! Here’s the starting pictures.

Here’s what I’m doing to begin:

1) adding in more cardio

2) eating in a calorie deficit

3) eating at least 60% of my bodyweight in protein (hoping to increase the percentage as I progress, but gotta start somewhere)

Make sure to follow for the progress, tips, and honest feelings during the process :)

Little bit of a lighter leg day today due to being on vacation last week and easing back into it…. Still got a good lil pump ;)

✨ 1 year transformation ✨

Left picture was two days ago. Right picture was exactly one year ago. Since we don’t gatekeep around here, here are some things I did to grow my glutes⬇️

1) broke up my squat and deadlift day. I do them on separate days now to get the full benefit of the movement. I focus on one big movement per day, and it’s really helped!

2) eat more protein! Protein keeps you fuller longer and helps build muscle

3) trained heavier and more frequently. I started taking the gym seriously - I didn’t go to just socialize and joke around. I lift heavier and I go to the gym 4-5x/week

4) I take rest days, and i don’t give them up. You break your body down in the gym and build it back up outside of the gym. Take your rest days!

Excited for what the next year holds!
