Jamari a very productive, elusive, and dangerous Wide Receiver and Returner garnered numerous awards during his 2024 Campaign, Preseason and Postseason All-SWAC Second Team Wide Receiver and Returner, Phil Steele Preseason All-SWAC Second Team, Returner and Phil Steele Preseason All-SWAC Third Team, Wide Receiver & All-Purpose, finishing his collegiete career with 124 receptions for 1,674 yards. In his 2023 Junior season, Jamari saw action in 12 games, recorded 24 receptions for 320 yards and had a season-high 77 receiving yards at Texas Southern. In 2022, Jamari a WR at Buffalo
appeared in 10 games and ranked third on the team with 28 receptions for 347 receiving yards, he had a season-high 85 receiving yards versus UMASS. As a freshman in 2021, Jamari appeared in all 12 games and made eight start, ranked third on the team in receiving with 20 catches for 270 yards and a touchdown. James appeared in 39 games from 2021-2023 as the primary long snapper for the Seminoles recording 4 tackles while there. During his time at FSU, James garnered accolades such as an AFCA First Team All-American, All-ACC Academic Teamer, ACC Honor Roll, and Seminole Scholar. James a graduate transfer from the University of Maryland, appeared in 17 games and was two-year starter at long snapper for the Terrapins. He was named Academic All-Big Ten in 2019 and 2020…started all five games in 2020, snapping for punters who combined to average 39.0 yards per punt…started all 12 games in 2019, helping Terrapins rank 12th in ESPN’s special teams efficiency rating while snapping to pair of freshman punters…duo averaged 40.3 yards per punt with 20 inside 20-yard line.
