🦆 CAMO NIGHT + CHUCK A DUCK! 🦆

This Friday night, we’re bringing a little extra fun to halftime!

Come dressed in camo and grab your duck at the University Church table between 7–8 PM. Hold onto your duck, because at halftime, it’s time to CHUCK THAT DUCK! Don’t throw until you hear the call!

It’s a halftime game for ALL AGES, and the duck that lands closest to the target wins the GRAND PRIZE! 👀

Wear your camo, bring the whole family, grab a duck, and come cheer on your Fightin’ Christians! 🏈🦆

📣 Senior Spotlight: Victoria Ortiz Lopez

Today we’re celebrating Victoria Ortiz Lopez, a senior on Varsity Cheer! In her first year of cheer, Victoria has grown in confidence both as a sideline cheerleader and as a UC student.

Her favorite post-game meal? PDQ chicken tenders!

Victoria says her coaches have had the biggest impact on her athletic career, helping her grow as an athlete through a summer of cheer and building her confidence and self-esteem along the way. Her favorite team tradition is having devotionals before practice to set the tone for how the team wants to approach practice.

Her advice to younger UC athletes? Keep working hard toward your goals, stay consistent, and never give up.

Victoria, we’re proud of the growth, dedication, and confidence you’ve shown throughout your first year. We’re cheering you on in all that’s ahead! ⚔️

🏈 Senior Spotlight: Fred Gooden V

Today we’re celebrating Fred Gooden V, a senior on Varsity Football! Wearing #6, Fred has spent one year on the field as a linebacker.

When it comes to post-game meals, Fred’s pick is pizza! One of his favorite team traditions is Fall Camp.

Fred says his family has had the biggest impact on his athletic career, always staying by his side no matter the situation. His advice to younger UC athletes? “Stay focused and keep up with your grades.”

Fred, we’re proud of the focus and perseverance you’ve shown throughout your time on the field. We’re cheering you on in all that’s ahead! ⚔️
