📦🔥 THE NEXT STEP IN THE ROAD TO 5.0!

The new Tenniix pickleball machine has arrived!

If I’m serious about taking my game from where I am today to 5.0, I know it’s going to take more than just playing more games. It’s about putting in the work, practicing with purpose, and working on the shots that don’t always get enough attention during open play.

So… time to put this machine to work! 💪

Forehands. Backhands. D***s. Resets. Drives. Footwork. Repetition.

Now the real question is… how much better can I get with intentional practice? 👀

Forehand D**k Drill

I’m changing the way I practice my forehand d***s.

Instead of just trying to hit 50 in a row, I’m focusing on 3 things:

1️⃣ Paddle recovery — D**k → paddle up → ready for the next ball.

2️⃣ Footwork — No reaching! Move my feet and get my body into position.

3️⃣ Put it together — Split → move → d**k → recover → repeat.

The goal isn’t just to hit better d***s in a drill. It’s to build habits that actually transfer to the game.

Small adjustments. Better habits. Better pickleball.

👀 Was it out… or wasn’t it?

Here’s one of those pickleball situations that can create a little confusion on the court.

If you believe the ball is out, you need to make the call before your opponent hits the next shot. If you wait until after they hit it, you’ve lost the opportunity to make the call.

But what if you weren’t sure? 🤔

That’s where things can get interesting—and why knowing the rules matters.

It’s not always about the drink. 🥤

Yes, that Pineapple Mango Smoothie from McDonald’s has sugar. But after a hard session on the pickleball court, I’m also thinking about recovery.

I sweat A LOT when I play, and replacing fluids and electrolytes matters. Potassium is one of those electrolytes that plays an important role in muscle function and fluid balance.

So no… this isn’t me saying, “Go drink a sugary smoothie because it’s healthy.” 😂

It’s about looking at the whole picture — hydration, electrolytes, potassium, nutrition, and recovery.

Balance > perfection.

Keep moving. Keep playing. Keep recovering.
